Since 1989, we have been conducting clinical trials in Central Eastern Europe, most prominently in Czech Republic and Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary. Only years later, we started accumulating experience in Russia and Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Macedonia.

We incorporated as BalkanTrials to communicate our focus on the Balkan Peninsula plus its neighboring countries. This territory provides access to a vast population, a well planned and ever improving medical infrastructure, a strong medical education tradition, and good access to regulators through our network of trusted relationships in every single country of our region.
